One of my favorite examples is a 40th birthday celebration I designed for a group of friends traveling to Germany. It was more than just a guys’ getaway. We timed the trip around Oktoberfest for a classic Bavarian celebration, complete with VIP beer tent reservations and behind-the-scenes brewery tours. But what made the journey even more meaningful was the private, expert-led tour of key World War II landmarks, including the Eagle’s Nest in the Bavarian Alps. It was a powerful blend of celebration, history, and personal connection—an experience the group won’t soon forget.
Another example was a custom summer itinerary I created for a couple traveling to Iceland for the first time. Both were passionate hobbyist photographers, so the trip was designed to highlight Iceland’s stunning landscapes and wildlife. We scheduled golden-hour excursions to some of the country’s most photogenic sites, along with guided opportunities to photograph puffins, Icelandic horses, and dramatic coastal cliffs. By choosing remote accommodations, they had uninterrupted access to the beauty of the land of the midnight sun. The trip became more than a vacation—it was a creative journey designed around their passions.
